Elijah is working as a Hawai’i Intern for Asner Lab. He graduated from high school in 2024 and is now in college pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. In addition to Asner Lab, Elijah also works with the community of Miloli’i and their CBSFA in west Hawai’i where he helps regulate and manage about 18 miles of coastline, including land and ocean surveying, collection and dissection of fish, etc. He really appreciates where he lives and is grateful for all the opportunities and help his community has given him and now wants to give back to them and the land. Elijah hopes that what he is doing will have a positive impact for future generations.
