Aloha, my name is Amanda Llanes, I am 31 years old, and currently serve as a Conservation and Resource Enforcement Officer in the Big Island of Hawaii. Being born and Raised in Hawaii, I became deeply connected to nature, engaging with the environment through fishing, hunting, and farming. These early experiences cultivated my commitment to environmental protection. Now, as a dedicated conservationist, I strive to defend our natural resources for future generations. My respect for nature fuels my belief in a responsibility to cherish and maintain Earth’s gifts. My conservation efforts aim for balance, understanding that human survival depends on our planet’s wellbeing. In my work, I support sustainable practices, protect fragile habitats, and lead educational initiatives to foster a conservation ethic. My goal is to maintain nature’s vitality for others’ enjoyment and well-being. I continually explore better ways to lessen human impact and enhance eco-friendly measures.
