Abbey holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hanover College. Prior to joining the ʻĀkoʻakoʻa team, she worked in fisheries ecology research in Alabama and then in aquaculture in Hawaii. Abbey is working towards establishing a Future Reef Bank to support propagation of corals in West Hawaii.
