Teagan is a graduate student in the Asner Lab, pursuing a Ph.D. through the School of Environmental Life Science at Arizona State University. She graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in 2023 with a bachelor’s in marine biology. She previously worked in the Coral Resilience Lab at The Hawaiʻi Institute of Marine Biology where she focused on coral reproduction, ecosystem services, and reef resilience in the context of climate change. Her current research interests include coral reef dynamics and creating methods to mitigate climate change impacts on coral reef communities. She hopes to work alongside Hawaiʻi’s communities to preserve reefs for future generations.
